DEERING, NH:  Robert “Bob” Greene, 70, of West Deering, passed peacefully May 1, 2023 with his family by his side following a brief illness.

Bob was born January 14, 1953 in Peterborough, NH, the son of the late Elizabeth (Korkunis) and Fred Greene of West Deering, NH.  He was also predeceased by his brothers, Bill, Jim and Fred, sister, Joanne, and grandson, Bryson Edwards.

Bob loved snowmobiling and 4 wheeling and just spending time outdoors. He enjoyed his cribbage and poker games and being with his family and friends. The annual Halloween hayride he hosted with his wife was the highlight for many West Deering neighbors, family and friends for over 25 years, creating many great memories.

Bob had a zest for life and a laugh that drew in everyone he met and was lovingly referred to as the “Mayor of West Deering” by many who knew him. He was so loved by his family and friends and will truly be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Fesmire), son, Michael and wife, Heather, daughter, Angie Merrill and husband, Tom and step-daughter, Meghan Robicheau and husband, Nick, his brother, Tony and wife, Jacquelyn and sister, Betty Randall.  He is also survived by his six grandchildren, Alesha, Jake, Liam, Emery, Harper and Evelyn. He loved every one of them and was so proud of who they are. He also had many nieces and nephews of whom he was very fond.
