DEERING, NH:  Daphne J. Warren (Denbow), age 68, passed away on March 26, 2023 at her home in Deering, NH, attended by her husband and daughter, Martha.  

Daphne was born in December 1954 and was predeceased by her parents, Greta and Darrell Denbow. One of many siblings, after moving to New Hampshire from Lubec, Maine as a teenager, she met and married her best friend, Mark Warren, and was proud to be a wife and mother for 48 years. 

For the last 40 years, she lived in Hillsboro and Deering with her husband and her daughters, Martha and Virginia. She enjoyed spending time with her family, getting together with friends at Tooky Mills and Caron’s Diner, and talking with everyone she knew in town. She believed in the importance of being a supportive and trustworthy friend. 

Daphne spent 36 years working at the Henniker Pharmacy, first at the soda fountain, and later as a cashier.  During that time she developed many long and enduring friendships among the people of both the Henniker and Hillsboro. She was gregarious and thoughtful, warm and compassionate, and loved helping friends and family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and fun and lived the values of compassion and hard work. 

She touched more lives than she knew, and she will be deeply missed by those in her community and her close friends, as well as by her sisters, her brothers, and her husband’s large extended family. 

There will not be any formal services held, and in lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity on her behalf.
