DEERING, NH:  Marilyn A. Johnson, age 82, of Deering, NH, passed away on July 3, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. She was born on June 28, 1941, to Everett and Leola Bennett in Rockingham, VT.  Marilyn was predeceased by her husband, Allan R. Johnson; they were married for 54 years.

Marilyn leaves her daughter, Brenda and her husband, Alan, her son, Mark and his wife, Sabrina, her daughter, Lorri-Anne and her husband, Keith, her grandchildren, Joshua, Kathleen, Rebekah and Aidan, and her great-grandchildren, Mila, Olivia, Grayson, and Liam.

She retired from OSRAM Sylvania in 2005 and spent her retirement years with her family.  She was an avid quilter and enjoyed time with her friends in her quilt group. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made in the name of Marilyn Johnson to support the Payson Center for Cancer Care at Concord Hospital. Calling hours will be at Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 32 School St, Hillsboro, NH on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 1 pm to 3 pm.  A gathering to celebrate Marilyn’s life will follow from 3:30 pm to 6 pm, at 156 Rush Road, Henniker NH.
