HENNIKER, NH: Charles B. Eggers, II, 70, of Henniker, NH passed away on January 23rd, 2023.

He was born in Coronado, California on April 6, 1952 to Mildred and Charles Eggers, Sr. 

After graduating from Coronado High School, Class of 1970, he soon thereafter moved to Henniker, NH where he opened a mechanic shop, Volkswagen Blues. In Henniker, he spent most of his life working as a mechanic, plumber, electrician and carpenter, but most of all he was a good father.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, biking, swimming, and camping, which he passed on to his three sons, Charles III, Jeremy Rust, and Daniel Rust and his four grandkids, Piper, Colton, Lucy and Henry.

 As a father, he passed on a love for the outdoors, an incredible work ethic, the importance of self reliance, and a basic understanding of what it takes to be a good person.

 Charlie will be missed by many but never forgotten. We'll remember him with a beer in hand, reminding us that he was an earthling. “Keep on truckin.”
