HENNIKER, NH:  Doris Aucoin passed peacefully on January 28, 2022 surrounded by family at Concord Hospital.

Doris was born on December 3, 1939, in Manchester, NH. She was the daughter of Germain and Yvette Paradis and was raised in Manchester, NH with her three brothers, Roger, Robert and Raymond Paradis.

Working at Notre Dame Hospital in Manchester as a nurse's aid, Doris met Claire Aucoin, who introduced her to her brother, Jean Paul. In June of 1962, they were married. They first settled in Keene, NH, quickly moving to Sullivan NH where they began their family of three children, Kevin, Marc and Christina.

In 1979 Doris and Jean Paul bought a property in Henniker, not far from the farm Jean Paul was raised on. Together they began building their forever home. There they loved to gather with friends and family including their seven grandchildren, Marky, Bret, Johnny, Tara, Reuven, Makiah, and Harper.

Doris and Jean Paul shared 60 beautiful years together as husband and wife. Along with raising her family, Doris worked as a book keeper at Boundtree in Henniker, NH. 

Doris had a great love for flowers, gardening, animals, and enjoyed feeding the birds (and any other wild critters that made their way to the bird feeder). Doris was a sweet, gentle woman who had a great love of family and the church. She will be missed by many.

Calling hrs will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 10 am to 11 am in St. Theresa Church in Henniker, NH.  Services will start at 11 am. A reception will follow at the church.
