HOLYOKE, MA:  Fairfield Whiting, Jr., grandson of William Fairfield Whiting of Whiting Paper Company died on November 18, 2021, at the Concord Hospital, NH.

He was born in Holyoke, MA on November 26, 1937, to his parents, Fairfield Whiting and Marion (Miller) Whiting.

He leaves behind Dorothy (Holt) Whiting, his wife of 61 years, his children Elizabeth Whiting, Narda Theobald, Alissa Ellis, Jamin Whiting, Morgan F. Whiting, Matthew Whiting and Verity Pierce. He was predeceased by his son, Justin Whiting.

Interment will be on December 8, 2021 at 1 pm at the Forestdale Cemetery in Holyoke, MA at the Whiting Mausoleum.
