ANTRIM, NH:  Louise Barbara (Sweeney) Cole, age 95, passed away on August 30, 2020 at Jaffrey Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Jaffrey, NH.

Louise was born on February 24, 1925 to the late Albert and Florence (Oliver) Sweeney in Deering, NH. She attended and graduated high school in Hillsboro, NH. Over the years she worked at Osram (Sylvania) and Peterborough Ball Bearing.  She took pride in being a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary of the VFW in Bennington, NH.

She was predeceased by her husband, George E Cole, Sr., in 2010 after 66 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her two sisters, Elizabeth and Isabell, and her two brothers, Sherman and Albert.

Louise is survived by her children, George (Jr.) and Elizabeth Cole of Peterborough, NH and Gary and Michelle Cole of Swanzey, NH, her five grandchildren, Brian Cole of Antrim, NH, Michelle (Cole) Reed of Peterborough, NH, Michael Cole of Williamsburg, VA, Jesse Cole of Newmarket, NH, and Zachary Cole of Fitzwilliam, NH. She is also survived by her four great-children and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

She loved her family more than anything, and always looked forward to the next gathering or family meal.  Louise created many great, loving memories by being actively involved in their lives and loved participating in all activities.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Antrim, NH on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1PM.
