HILLSBORO, NH:  Floyd Burgess Jones, 89, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at Concord Hospital.   

Floyd was born on June 10, 1929 to Ruth Emery and Barnard Jones of Eden, Vermont. 

Floyd is predeceased by his wife, Joan (Howoy) Jones; his mother, Ruth Emery Jones; his father, Barnard Jones; and sisters, Barbara Murdough and Marge Robichaud. 

 He is survived by his sisters and brother, Nancy Kelley, Patricia Dalhstrom, Virginia Callahan, and Michael Jones; his sons, Thomas Jones and wife Debi, David Jones and wife Bonnie, Steve Jones and wife Irina, Peter Jones and wife Lisa; and daughter, Cathy Dubuque and husband Bill.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Bill Dubuque IV, Brandi Dubuque, Brent Jones and wife Dee, Jessica Jones-Spain, Kristen Sullivan and husband Shaun, Sarah Jones, Stephanie Jones, Cherry Jones, Melissa Hall, Dana Jones, Kimberly Newhall and husband Joshua, Nicholas Jones and his wife Tamara, and Mark Jones; his great-grandchildren, Aspen Dubuque, Billy Dubuque V, Dylan Beard, Cameron Jones, Madison Jones, Riley Jones, Christian Jones, Sean Jones, Maddy Jones, Stella Jones, Audrey Jones, Eleanor and Oliver Jones, several nieces and nephews and longtime friend and companion Judy Jones. 

There will be a Celebration of Life at the America Legion of Hillsboro on October 13 from 1 to 5 pm. 

The Holt-Woodbury Funeral Home & Cremation Service Hillsboro, NH is assisting the family.
