HENNIKER, NH:  Marilyn K. Buxton, 90, died peacefully on June 22, 2018 at her home in Henniker.  She was born February 18, 1928, the daughter of Roy and Etta (Severance) Knapton.

Marilyn was a Registered Nurse and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant helping patients of all ages from pediatric wards to nursing homes during her career.  She had fond memories of her summers employed as Camp Nurse at various camps in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. 

Marilyn is predeceased by her brother, Richard Knapton.  She is survived by her sister, Jeanne DaCosta of Webster, MA, her brother, James Knapton of Bradford, NH; her children: Joan and her husband Victor Chauca, John Buxton, Jeffrey Buxton of Henniker, NH, Joyce and her husband John G.  Blythe, II of Deering, NH; seven grandchildren: Joel Taylor, Timothy Buxton, Brian Taylor, Shannon Niven, Catrina Buxton, Jessica Chauca, John G. Blythe, III; and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service at the New Cemetery (north side) in Henniker at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 30.
