HILLSBORO, NH: Jacqueline C. (Nartowicz) Morehouse 74, of Hillsboro, NH died Monday July 16, 2018 at Pleasant View Center in Concord, NH surrounded by her loving husband and family.
Jacqueline was born January 26, 1944 in Manchester CT to the late William and Barbara (Griswold) Nartowicz of Windsor, CT.
Jacqueline attended school in Wethersfield, CT and Windsor, CT and graduated from Windsor High School in 1962. She continued her education at Manchester Community College and ultimately graduated from Claremont Community College at age 55.
Jacqueline worked in the medical field. She worked as an emergency room technician at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Hartford, CT and later as a phlebotomist, and went on to be a Medical Technician at Springfield Hospital in VT.
Her hobbies included sewing, knitting and crocheting and she was also very involved in Smith Church of Hillsborough NH. She deeply enjoyed the arts, specifically ballet and dance.
Jacqueline was an avid reader and loved gardening. She had a passion for animals and loved the beach and travel.
Jacqueline enjoyed volunteering for the food pantry garden of Smith Church and also Meals on Wheels.
Jacqueline is survived by her husband Harold J. Morehouse of Hillsboro, NH, her children, Marc Desmarais of Hudson, NH, Denise Edberg of Washington, NH, Eric Desmarais of Manchester, CT, Craig Morehouse, deceased, of Manchester, CT, Carrie Morehouse of Pembroke, NH, grandchildren, Sebastian Morehouse of Pembroke, NH, Jordin Edberg of Washington, NH, Madison Edberg of Washington, NH, Hunter Desmarais of South Windsor, CT, Casey Powell, of Toledo, OH, and a great-grandchild Parker Powell of Toledo OH.
Services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Smith Church in Hillsborough NH with a reception to follow until 4:00 pm.
A Burial Service will be at 4.30 in Harvey Memorial Cemetery in Hillsborough, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Food Pantry or Meals on Wheels in Hillsboro, NH.
