WARNER, NH: Doris A. (Buskey) Nichols died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, October, 15^th, 2017. 

Doris was born in Barton, VT on March 22, 1946 and attended Simonds School in Warner.  

On July 23rd, 1966 Doris married her high school sweet heart, Ernie Nichols. 

Doris was a life long care giver starting at home as the oldest girl of 6 children. Doris continued her care giving at McCurley's Nursing home, Concord Hospital and New London Hospital.  Doris provided childcare to many local families. She and Ernie provided foster care to numerous children.  Most recently Doris was employed at Market Basket in Warner; where she made many friends. She was an avid knitter, making many sweater sets for many new babies. 

Doris is predeceased by her parents, Eileen and Robert Buskey, her brother, Elwin Buskey and her beloved son, Shawn. 

Doris leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Ernie, son, Lee his wife Samantha of Henniker their two sons, daughter-in-law to-be and her daughter, daughter, Terri and her husband Patrick of Helena, MT, their nin children and granddaughter. 

The family would like to express sincere thanks to the Warner Fire and Resecue for their gallant efforts. 

Graveside services to be held at the family’s convenience.
