HOPKINTON: Dorothy A. (Mitchell) Stockwell 89, of Hopkinton, NH died Thursday December 14, 2017 at Pleasant View in Concord, NH. 

She was born March 31, 1928 in Berlin, NH to the late Charles and Erene (Edberg) Mitchell, and was also predeceased by her brother Warren D. Mitchell. 

Dorothy was a long time member of the First Congregational Church in Hopkinton, NH., and was the director of the Bell Choir, Quilting Guild of Church, ABC Quilt, Hopkinton Senior Center, and Chancel Choir and also Eastern Star of Hooksett, NH. 

Dorothy worked for over 25 years at the Suncook Bank before her retirement. 

Survived by one son, Michael D. Stockwell of CA, one daughter, Ann S. Watson of Hopkinton, NH, two sisters, Virginia Duford of Goffstown, NH, Jane Countryman of NY, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held in the Spring in Hopkinton Old Cemetery, Hopkinton, NH.
