PEMBROKE, NH:  David Alan Buttrick 75, of Pembroke, NH died Monday October 24, 2016 at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen, NH. 

David was born July 20, 1941 in Concord, NH to the late Ronald A and Lucy (Tatro) Buttrick.  

He was Vice President of Utilization of Energy North and a 1963 graduate of UNH with a Chemical Engineering Degree. David served his communities as a selectman in Webster, NH, on the Board of the Salvation Army, and on Board of Merrimack County Diversion Program for First Time Offenders. 

He was a member of Air National Guard, an avid Fly-Fisherman who taught many children and was a member of the Wantastiquet Fly-Fishing Club of West, VT, Finance Chairman of two local Methodist Churches, Member of Rotary Club of Bow and of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. 

Survived by his wife, Leni Lee (Baldelli) Buttrick, of Pembroke, NH who he married in Needham, MA, on Feb 14 1964, a daughter, Melanie Lord, a son, Bradford A. Buttrick, long-time care-giver and brother-in-law, Glen Baldelli, many cousins, nephews and nieces, and granddaughter, Alicia M Spataro. 

Services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at 11 am in Contoocook United Methodist Church, Contoocook, NH. 

Burial will follow in Evans Cemetery, Bow, NH.
