HILLSBORO, NH:  Helen (Coleman) Alves 90, of Hillsboro, NH died Monday December 19, 2016 at Ingrahm Manor Nursing Home in Bristol, CT. 

She was born in Forestville, CT to the late William G. and Gladys (Rusgrove) Coleman. She was also predeceased by her husband, Louis A. Alves, Sr. who died in 2002, one son, James E. Moore, and one sister, Mary Cornforth. 

Helen moved to Hillsboro, NH in 1975.  She worked in the Financial Aid Department of New England College for many years and retired in 1984. 

She was a member of Contoocook Valley Bible Chapel Hillsboro, NH, First Baptist Church Lake Hamilton FL, a member of American Business Woman’s Association in Concord, NH. 

Survived by two daughters, Claudia E. Clark of Bristol, CT, and Terri J Moore-Prant, of Englewood, Fl, one brother, William J. Coleman of Lecanto, Fl, nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren. 

Services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
